Out With The Old and In With The New

I had to say goodbye to an old friend. This was the first brand new truck I ever owned. I bought it in 1995 from a dealer in Ellsworth and has served me well for the last 176,484 miles. I never had to have anything major done to it during all those years.
But last Saturday Nana and I were going to the library, on a snowy day and the road still had ice on it from the last storm, when we came over a hill and had no where to go. There were two trucks in the road, one in each lane.
Luckily no one was hurt in the accident.

So on Sunday Nana did all the leg work on the Internet to find what where we could buy a truck that I wanted (I don't have the patience to do it). This dealer was just 10 miles from the house and after all the research she did we knew the price we wanted to pay for this truck.
When we got to the dealer we knew half the people working there and had a chance to catch up on what everyone and their families were doing.
Next came the price of the truck and it was almost $3000 less than we anticipated. So always forward and life never goes back. Hopefully we can move on past the accident.
