This is a "High Bush Cranberry" that we planted a few years ago in hopes of having the red contrast against the snow. It has worked and each year the bush gets bigger and more fruit appear.
We changed the name of our farm after realizing our spring does not connect to Mines Creek. Spring Pond Farm is a temporary change and doesn't quite "go bing". Any suggestions? Previously considered names are: Trout Lily Farm (similar farm names around), Turkey Hill Farm (Martha Stewart's old home, not very original), Woodpecker Farm (we have four species of woodpeckers in residence, but the name has goofy connotations), Bob's Knob (might get us on some porno sites).
