Nana and Jonesie had a busy weekend, for us anyway. It started on Friday when PJP came over and we left to go to Hayward to meet for lunch with MJB and PAB. We met at the big Muskie and went on a tour of the Fresh Water Fishing Museum. As usual my luck with batteries continues. I was going to take the first picture of the day and discovered that the battery in the camera was dead.
After the tour we went to Famous Daves for lunch. It is set on Big Round lake and we had a window seat overlooking the water. The view was nice and the food and conversation were also very nice.
Nana had framed some pictures for MJB and after the exchange we headed home. The leaves have started turning color and it was a very colorful drive. We stopped in Cumberland for a chocolate covered dairy queen.
On Saturday we went to a weeding for one of Nana's coworkers. I told her we had to leave by 6:30 because da Badgers were playing and were on tv. Well we didn't leave at 6:30 but did get home in time to See the second half of the game, in which da Badgers won!!!
Deer Report:
Friday night There were 9 deer walked by me while I was in the tree stand. There were 4 adult does and 5 fawns and they are still walking in the woods.
I went out looking this morning, I didn't take a bow with, and saw nothing until I was leaving the woods when I looked to my right and there stood a 6 point buck watching me. He was a 1 1/2 year old but still fun to see.
