Working in Alaska

Well, I am up here in Alaska for a bit of work. These are pics of the hydrogen cooled generator we are working on.









The rotor, big orange thing in the middle, weights about 44,000 pounds and is about 35 years old. It is capable of making about 85 megawatts of electricity for use in Anchorage.
