I have been very lazy when it comes to blogging lately because of the holidays and the bad cold I got as soon as I got off the plane from Portland.

Yesterday was a significant day for me because as of 4 pm in the afternoon it was the start of my second year of being smoke free. I didn't think it could be done, but as my brother in law told me once, "you can get use to anything".

Christmas was fun as usual being with the grand kids and all in Portland. We even had the chance to make a snow fort and snow woman.

So today we are awaiting a snow storm that is suppose to leave another 4 inches of snow this afternoon.
