The hard water fishing opened up for Jonesie yesterday and as you can see it was quite a good day.I started out on a lake that had a variety of fish in it and I caught one of each except the walleye.
I then moved to a river and caught 3 northern pike. This one is 29 inches long and the 2 that I threw back were over 30 inches. I had 4 flags and caught 3 fish in less than 2 hour's.
The other fish in the pictures are perch. The largest was 12" and the other 2 were 11".It was cold out, about 7 when I started and only got to 18 degrees in the afternoon.
