The Case of The Missing Knife

Sometime last year, we lost a knife. We looked high and low for it but to no avail. Nana, not Jonesie, accused some relative of swiping the knife. Well, I couldn't say they didn't as relatives were in the area on or about the time the knife came up missing.
So we finally wrote it off and Nana ordered a new knife.
Last week we were turning over the compost pile when guess what we found. Yes it was the missing knife that survived a year in the compost pile. That meant that it was in the heat and wetness of the summer and the minus 20 degrees in the winter.

The knife not only survived but after a little clean up, the knife looked as though it never left the knife drawer in the kitchen. I can report that it is safe and sound back in the knife drawer

If you ever need a new knife, here is what you need to buy. It is a Victorinox knife. The only one to buy.

You'll have to email Cook's Illustrated so they can feature your story in their knife round-up!
I would love to know who you thought swiped it!
